Minyue Ruan (b. Shanghai, China) received her BA in History of Art from Bryn Mawr College and Fine Arts, with concentration in Painting, from Haverford College in 2019. She received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2021. Her work aims to show that material expression is a revelation of her perception, memory and emotion. Minyue has exhibited at Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery, Haverford, PA; Cerulean Arts Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; FMC Tower, Philadelphia, PA; Anne Bryan Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, Art Shenzhen, Shenzhen, China. Minyue currently works and lives in Shanghai.
